Care at home is about far more than practical support, it’s about helping people live comfortably, safely and with dignity in the place they know best. Our dedicated care team provides personalised, one-to-one support that fits around each service user’s daily routine, preferences and needs.
From the moment our carers arrive, the focus is on making the day easier and more enjoyable. We support with personal care such as washing, applying creams, getting dressed and maintaining personal hygiene. Where required, this includes sensitive toilet assistance and incontinence care, always delivered respectfully and discreetly.
Morning visits often include preparing breakfast, assisting with feeding if needed, and supporting with medication in line with care plans. Throughout the day, our carers help maintain a clean and comfortable home environment by carrying out light household tasks. This can include washing and drying pots, wiping kitchen surfaces after cooking, putting on laundry, hanging clothes out and bringing them back in, as well as a quick mop of the floor when required.
Care at home also supports wellbeing beyond the home. We accompany service users on walks, helping them stay active and connected to their community. Our carers can organise and attend appointments, collect medications, and provide reassurance and companionship along the way.
For individuals with more complex needs, we offer specialist support including catheter care, hoisting, moving and handling, and the safe use of specialist equipment. Our team is fully trained to deliver care safely, confidently and in line with best practice.
Once tasks are complete, we help settle service users comfortably; whether that’s in front of the television, with a cup of tea, or simply knowing everything is in order.
